Half-court vs. full-court planning
Most residential builds are half-court — around 30' x 50' — because it lands the best balance of real play, yard use, and cost. Full-court builds (typically 50' x 84' or larger) make sense on estate lots. We'll walk your yard and honestly tell you which layout fits.

Hoops, backboards & striping
Adjustable-height in-ground hoops with glass or acrylic backboards and breakaway rims are the standard. We tape and paint the key, three-point arc, and sidelines properly so it plays like a real court.
Surface choice: modular tile vs. coated concrete
Coated concrete delivers the most authentic bounce and a smoother playing feel. Modular sport tile is more forgiving on joints and can install over an existing slab. Both hold up well in North Texas weather when properly prepared.
Family use, safety & sound
Rebound-mesh perimeter fencing keeps balls off neighbor yards and cars. LED lighting extends evening play. We think about ball noise too — cushioned surfaces and mesh fencing significantly reduce the "thud, thud" that older concrete courts create.
